Friday 6th October, 2023.
This week I'll keep it simple with a little taster for a piece from Offering - an exhibition of mine and Maja Lorkowska-Callaghan's work next week at Penny Lane Church.
Here is a poem that accompanies an assemblage installation piece I will be showing.
the water
the flowing melody falls away,
and I lie beneath it,
trying,
hoping,
waiting,
to float.
i dream of ascending,
my mouth at the water's edge,
breathing,
floating,
finally,
at peace,
at peace with the water.
